Product Description
Furuno's differential beacon receiver makes a good thing even better. Use of the GR80 DGPS beacon receiver can greatly increase the accuracy of any standard GPS system. This allows for superior position fixing, especially in close-in situations, such as coastal areas, harbors and harbor approaches.

  • Front panel, 16 character LCD with adjustable dimmer and contrast
  • LCD signal strength indicator plus LED station lock indicator
  • Hands off or Automatic station selection using GPS L/L position input from compatible GPS receiver
  • Rugged 6db antenna coupler
  • DGPS Stations acquired in less than 5 seconds
  • Single channel Super Heterodyne Receiver
  • Frequency range of 283.5-325.0 kHz, covering all ITU regions
  • Display of vessels GPS L/L position
  • Station scanning mode
  • Compliance with all relevant IMO and IEC standards
  • Remote Control via the Serial I/O Port using NMEA 0183 Data Format

Power Requirements
  • 12 or 24 VDC, 5 Watts
  • Please note: An external DC power switch is required

Notes
  1. A 4 foot whip antenna (FUR5224) or equivalent is required
